What is the Charities Pensions Club?

The Charities Pensions Club (CPC) was formed in 2014 to support a small group of pension professionals in the charity sector to meet and discuss topical pensions matters. The CPC has grown significantly, with a total membership now of around 20 charities.

CPC membership includes some of the UK’s stellar charities, including Action for Children, Age UK, Mencap, Save the Children and Wellcome Trust. Members meet at least twice a year to understand industry trends and share ideas – delegates also keep in touch throughout the year, virtually, through the CPC e-mail group.

Member Feedback

"An invaluable forum for sharing ideas and experiences with particular relevance to the charity sector. Subjects are determined by the members and discussions are always informal and open, which leads to some great contributions from peers."

How do CPC Members Benefit?

The last few years have been a turbulent for all, including charities – it is estimated that the third sector expected a loss of £12.4bn because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The CPC offers charities affordable pensions support during uncertain financial times.

Charities have access to the latest industry pensions knowledge through peer discussion, and presentations from high profile guest speakers – helping their organisation become more competitive.

Member Benefits

The Charities Pensions Club works for you.

In the charity sector, you owe it to your donors and volunteers to keep consultancy fees low. The CPC helps you do this by providing a forum for members to discuss sector specific concerns with experts and peers.

Our Events

Our Events

The main activity of the CPC is 4 events per year hosted by our partners.

All our events can be attended in-person or virtually with the exception of our annual away day in September which is in-person only.

Member Group Email Addresses

Member Group Email Addresses

We have a group email address for all our members. This allows members to contact each other during the year with any queries or questions. Members find this a really useful tool to share knowledge throughout the year.

Annual Report

Annual Report

We arrange a short pensions benchmarking survey and report with members. This helps members share and find the latest market data among their peers.

Cost & Representatives
