What is the Charities Pensions Club?
The Charities Pensions Club (CPC) was established in 2014 to support a small group of pension professionals within the charity sector, providing a space to meet and discuss key pensions issues. Since then, CPC has grown into a thriving network, now representing over 20 charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Our membership includes some of the UK’s largest charities, such as Cancer Research UK, The Salvation Army, National Trust and Barnardo’s.
Members come together at least four times a year to explore industry trends, exchange ideas, and discuss emerging challenges. In addition, ongoing collaboration is supported through a dedicated CPC email group, enabling members to stay connected and share insights throughout the year.

Membership of the Charities Pensions Club is £480 per year.
The Charities Pensions Club’s core programme revolves around four annual events, hosted in collaboration with our partner organisations.
Most events offer flexible participation, allowing members to join either in person or virtually. The exception is our annual Away Day in June, which is an in-person only event, providing a unique opportunity for deeper engagement, networking, and interactive learning.
We are pleased to bring CPC members free access to First Actuarial’s Financial Wellbeing MOT tool.
This practical, easy-to-use online tool is designed to help charities support the financial wellbeing of their employees by providing clear insights into their financial health.
CPC provides a dedicated group email for all members, enabling easy communication and collaboration throughout the year.
This tool allows members to ask questions, share insights, and exchange knowledge, making it a valuable resource for ongoing support and peer learning.
We conduct an annual benchmarking survey on member pensions, along with additional ad-hoc surveys throughout the year that focus on timely and relevant topics.
These surveys provide members with access to up-to-date market insights and data.
