Our Partners
CMS
Exclusive Legal Partner of the CPC
We are thrilled to announce that CMS will be the CPC’s exclusive legal partner for the fifth consecutive year.

CMS is a top 10 global law firm whose pensions team has been ranked top in the Legal directories for more than 12 consecutive years and has won numerous awards, including Pensions Lawyers of the Year 2021 at the Pensions Age Awards.

With more than 75 lawyers, CMS has one of the largest pensions teams in the UK. They also have vast experience advising charities on pensions matters, which means that they recognise and understand the key issues facing third sector clients in relation to pensions and are able to give pragmatic, user-friendly advice.

CMS has been a supporter of the CPC for the previous four years and provides members with pensions legal updates at CPC events. Feedback from members tell us that charities value staying abreast of the latest legal pension developments and we welcome the opportunity to work with CMS throughout 2022.
Isio
Exclusive Actuarial Partner of the CPC
We are excited to announce that Isio will also be returning as Exclusive Actuarial Partner for 2022.

Isio is a new name, but an established team – you may remember Jen & Gemma from KPMG’s pensions practice who sponsored us previously. In March 2020, all 500 KPMG Pensions staff, 20 partners and over 700 existing clients transferred to a new business - becoming Isio, one of the UK’s largest independent pensions advice and wealth management specialists. Isio aims to deliver clearer, simpler pensions and investment advice in a more personal way, backed by technical expertise and underpinned by proprietary technology.

Isio combines actuarial expertise, third party administration, investment consulting and defined contribution specialism to deliver better outcomes for pension scheme sponsors, trustees and members. Isio’s clients include many charities and not-for-profits, of which Gemma and Jen advise several. They understand the issues CPC members face, and can help you continue to manage the many challenges that Covid has brought by sharing their experiences. They are delighted to continue their support of the CPC.

We look forward to working with Isio again and are confident that our members will benefit greatly!

Our Vision
Equipping pension professionals in the Charity Sector with the latest industry knowledge in a cost-effective way.
Our Mission
We ensure members have access to the latest industry pensions knowledge through peer discussion and informative events.
Our Club Values
Members First
Our club was formed to support pension professionals in the charity sector to meet and discuss topical pensions matters. Everything we do is for the benefit of its members so we always ask for feedback on meeting agendas, speakers and surveys. In turn we ask that members let us know what they think. We can only adapt our club if we know what our members want.
Proactive
The club's success relies on the proactiveness of its members and partners to share knowledge and give support to each other.
Welcoming
The strength of the club lies in its community. We actively welcome all members and partners to join us. A king and welcoming club leads to an active club.

Take a look at our Membership Benefits
Founded in 2016, the Charities Pensions Club, known as the 'CPC', supports charities across the whole of the UK.

The Charities Pensions Club enables pension professionals in the charity sector to meet, share knowledge and discuss topical matters. Our membership includes some of the UK's leading charities, as well as many small and local charities looking for expert insight and guidance.
Why join Charities Pensions Club?
The Charities Pensions Club supports pension professionals across the third sector by providing invaluable insight and guidance. We understand that pension provision can be a minefield for charities, so we make sure that you stay ahead of the curve by sharing best practice as part of an active network of likeminded people across the UK.

"As the only pensions professional at Save the Children, membership of the Charities Pension Club has been invaluable to me in bringing together a network of similar people from the charity sector. That network provides a sounding board for ideas, solutions to issues and benchmarking. In addition to the meetings, members exchange ideas by email, as they arise, between meetings; the high level of participation in these ad-hoc exchanges is extremely useful."

Client Feedback
"It is very useful to be able to share information, ideas and issues on pensions with other charities. As charities we often have a different focus than other employers on pensions. The Charities Pension Club enables us to get together and discuss these. The network of contacts has been invaluable and enables a quick access to gain information and help on all sorts of pension questions."
